Department schools change in Chemwatch

Post by trish armstrong »

Hi everyone,
Just logged on and found information on how department schools can now use chemwatch gold.
I found the information by going into the intranet and reading Schoolbiz.
So check it out as it may help you if you are using chemwatch.
Trish.
Ps, it says we now have to log on as we do for manifests! :D

Thanks for that. It seems to have preserved the manifest. Thank goodness. Otherwise a bit cumbersome with vast numbers of each chemical according to supplier. Guess we'll get used to it.
Cheers,

I've got my user name and password and it's worked fine until today. Now it's putting me into 'Chemffx trial' and I can't access any MSDSs. Anyone else got the same problem?

Carol, I've got the same problem!

I've emailed our regional OHS Officer, so hopefully we can get it sorted soon.

Thanks, Sue.

Have logged out and in again, and Chemgold 3 page comes up, so Anna must have been working on it pronto!

However I am still unable to view information for specific chemicals. Will keep trying.

Would appreciate it if anyone who has some success would keep the rest of us posted...

I've been sitting here trying to work out this new Chemwatch to little avail.
It seems to add something to your manifest you actually do it through the Materials tab! and it takes me about 10 inutes per chemical. With 372 chemicals in my store room I can see it will be a looooooong job
I did as Lurra sugested and typed in Flour.
Fist on the list was cornflour so entered that.
from the MSDS if you swallow cornflour you need to immediatly contact your doctor or the poisons centre!

HELP! Chemffx querstion

Post by linotas »

Ok, I will start by saying I have never had any training in chemwatch and have had to try and teach myself. The online workbook is atrotious to try and work out so my (somewhat simple )question is:

I have created my stores and now I want to add some chems to them. How on earth do I do it? The manual talks about copying folders, but again, I cant get anything into my folders.

I know it is probably going to be a really simple answer so go easy on me lol
