Ballistics

Post by Phoenix »

Hi all,

Our senior physics class will be starting their EEI's in a couple of weeks and the topic is ballistics. I'm trying to find some experiments that the students shouldn't turn into anything too dangerous for the physics teacher to use as guides.
I said I'd ask around Chemtalk to find out what others use or have done in the past. Please feel free to inundate me with information. It will be much appreciated :clap3:

Cheers
Kel

This got me wondering - who would choose a topic 'ballistics' for a bunch of 16/17 year olds!! So I googled 'safe ballistics experiments' and came up with this link:

http://knygos.sprogmenys.net/knygos-2/R ... stelle.pdf

It is a book on back yard ballistics! Don't know if it is any use to you but I've just been reading through it and I know my husband would love to get it for his next birthday - but I don't know if his wife is brave enough to give it to him!!
