Post by ktrezise »

Hey there!!
Does anyone have some great ideas for a junior (grade 6/7) science project for making a model of a natural disaster that is not a volcano???
Cheers,
Katie

Cyclone in a bottle maybe? Although it would be very hard to add the land and buildings in!

A fault..... 2 bits of syro foam, painted in a couple of layers then a tooth pic to hold the two pieces so they dont match. Then you can say what happens on the surface and under water.

not sure how well it would work, maybe an icecream container or similar with a 'lego town' in it and some water to partially cover the houses, for a flood, or the opposite for a drought, with dry dirt and a house or paddock scene with animals. Something like ash, with burnt sticks for a bushfire?
This would be a fun assignment
