Periodic table

Post by kase »

Does any one know where I can purchase a really big Periodic table from? We had one of those big green ones that was about 2m x1m but it got really ratty so we chucked it, thinking that we would just buy a new one to go in the new lab, but I can't seem to find one as big!! :-(

Has anyone bought the Theodore Gray periodic table? We would like to get one but as far as I can see it seems to be only online from America. Would anyone know if it can be sourced in Australia.
Thanks

There are colourful posters that show everyday things that are made from each element.
These are available FREE from ANSTO- Lucas Heights and ASTA - Canberra

FYI, I got a couple of free periodic table posters from Ajax Chemicals here in NZ - not sure whether they are giving them away in Aus though! Just need to get them laminated...

Does anyone know if these ideas are still current. I need a new periodic table poster. The one I have is a Time Life one. Thanks.
