My magnetic stirrer doesn't stir Has anyone else had this problem? The hot plate still works on it, and it is magnetised, but the stirring magnet doesn't spin. If it is the machine thing, is it fixable or will I have to get a new one? Any ideas where to get new ones from at a reasonable price?

Try contacting the manufacturer/supply company where it was purchased. They may be helpful in troubleshooting & suggesting what may need to be done. You can then make decisions from there :-k
We have a guy down here that recycles and sells equipment. He may be able to advise you to help you solve your problem or sell you a recycled one.
