Yr 12 Chem

Post by juliem »

I prepared a booklet for the Yr12 chem teachers to give to their students as a resouce to use before some of the pracs they may do. This was a photocopy (2/A4 not B to B) of a section from the CSIS Appendix I 3.2 p 68 - 84 Acid / Base titration,Esterification, 2 types of seperation by seperating funnel, Reactions forming gasses, Alkane /Alkene diferentation. It gives a brief over view of 6 Pracs re - methodology, risk and alternatives, and the students can make notes regarding the prac. This was well received by teachers and students.

This is a great idea Julie at least when the students are ready for their Lab work they should be up to speed with methodology.

Helps them to work more efficiently as well.

It also keeps the students well informed of Risk/Hazards and they can determine what needs to be done to work safely.

Good Idea..
