Revisiting the forum discussion on the now extinct Potato Clock.
I found a Water Clock...

which does a bit more than the old potato clock, in that it can be filled with liquids as well(water, coke, liquid soap, vinegar etc). as well as use potato, lemons etc.
It looks good too.. still has the LCD clock, stopwatch, date functions.
Costs around $29, and allow $10 or so for P&P. And add GST
