Rock and mineral specimens

Post by Labtechie70 »

Good afternoon guys,

I am struggling to find a supplier who sells small (3-4cm) specimens of common minerals and rocks as top-up spares for our kits.
Serrata (now MTA) previously sold bags of quartz, or granite, or limestone etc, but no longer. Anyone know who supplies these?
Thanks!

Cheers,
Chocolate

Hi
We went to a landscape supplier in our area and they were happy to supply us with some granite, limestone, basalt, scoria and sandstone samples.

I have purchased them from Southern biological in the past, don't know if they still have them.

Haines have great rock sample kits ( large samples)

Brilliant Shell .It's usually these basic ones that seem to get removed and not put back .
