Morning ... Just wondering if anyone is looking to purchase containers for chemicals - to send smaller quantities into the classroom (moconna jars dont cut it anymore!!!)
I have sourced these
However they are in a bulk of 150 ... So would one school like to go thirds - would be $62 (preferably sydney local) for 50 containers
Or do you have any suggestion that is as littel as $1 a container ...
I use film canisters. They are becoming harder to access from photographers and I have got some from the BigW photo section. One of our teachers purchased some from ebay for me. They work well and I have a 10 piece class set in the dropper bottle trays of quite a few different chemicals in the chem storeroom.
Thanks friends need something larger for things like bi carb soda, marble chip, salt etc to go into classrooms ... we have small size specimen containers but not big enough for classroom quantities ..
Our canteen save their mayonnaise jars for me, they are large but work well for items such as plaster of paris etc which are needed in the classroom in bulk quantities.
When you say classroom quantities what size do you mean? You can buy larger size specimen jars from most supply companies. You are not supposed to transfer chemicals into old food containers.
Just for clarification. You can store food ingredients such as sugar, Salt, flour, tea leaves, coffee etc (cooking ingredients) in food containers. I would never store chemicals in food containers or drink bottle.
