Not just you, Whspa,

Just tried to open Chemwatch, and today is the first time I've seen that message, so hopped straight on here to see what the Brains Trust knows!

Thank you, Labbie. Have schools been told about this and it hasn't filtered down to us yet, or is it just happening and we're supposed to figure it out. (as usual)

If anyone is an ASET member - there is information on the members area of the website - www.asetnsw.org.au - from our last 2 PD days on Chemwatch/ChemgoldFFX that should be beneficial to you.

To access the new chemwatch gold FFx for DEC schools only.
From your portal
Click on the DEC A to Z icon
Click on safety & Compliance (Left hand side of screen)
If the "Authentication required" drop down slip appears Enter your Dec Login eg Susan.rowley1, then I'd enter my DEC password. Do not enter your chemwatch user ID & Password. You will only have to enter your DEC login if you haven't already logged into the sysem all the way. Then - a new screen appears.
Click on the old password sentence click here (Which is located on the bottom right hand corner of the page).
Enter your old details into the user ID & Password space, Click logon ( you may have to do this a few times)
You may even have to click in & out from the page.
Good luck

Sorry smee, I don't want to make more work for you!!!

I rang the help desk for chemwatch, so I was able to log in. ffx has account name, user i.d. and password, (that threw me!!) anyway got in and there is an e-learning thingy which explains everything, apparently! I started on it yesterday but didn't finish it, will have another look today.

I can't find 'Safety and Compliance' in the DEC A-Z, only 'Safety and Security'.

Yes, AnnNos, that's what I did too.
Then URL: Chemwatch
Then as I don't have an account number I clicked on the
'If you are not sure how to use the form above please click here to access the old login screen' (on the right)
I used the old ID and password

There's an option to 'subscribe to out Newsletter' which I thought I might as well try too, but no success with that - won't open....

Now to have a play on FFX!

The login is: first box: your school's number eg DEC----
second box: 'administrator'
third box: your usual password

This worked for me.
