Stroboscope

Post by macca »

Morning Brains trust,

Just wondering if anyone in NSW schools uses a Stroboscope with the current Physics syllabus. Ours isn't working, if it is worth getting fixed or buying a new one, when budgets are pretty tight at the moment.

I have never had it out of the cupboard in 27 years!

Thanks in advance.

We use one for the Ball drop experiment . Drop a white ball and photograph with Time exposure . Its fiddly to setup and get right . we have a new Physics teacher , I doubt she will do it .
Other than that , some kids have requested it for ISRPs .
