Gloves and allergies

Post by cactus155 »

Hi all,

Any advice would be appreciated:

I have an allergy to latex so don't use latex gloves and usually use nitrile gloves, however now it seems I am developing an allergy to nitrile gloves, can anyone suggest a suitable replacement type of disposable glove or what do you do if this is the same for you?

Thanks

Andrew

We have a box of disposable vinyl gloves for kids with allergies (they haven't been used since I've been here though). They are Ansell and come in a box of 100. I was able to find them on the Bunnings website. I'm not sure if this link will work though.

Could you try cotton gloves underneath the nitrile? Or even vinyl underneath nitrile? Huge loss of dexterity though.

Is it the gloves or the powder that is affecting you?
Have you tried powder free?
