Drones

Post by macca »

Hi,
Wondering if anyone can help me out; does anyone use a drone in your school, if so what guidelines do you follow?

Thanks in advance.

Macca

Do you work for a NSW DoE school? If you do, have a look under Work Health and Safety, Safety alert no. 62.

Hi macca
We've been given some info from AIS which is basically the same information you have been reading from CASA. The teacher should also be doing a risk assessment each time it is used to show that they have gone through the routine checks and they are complying with CASA's guidelines.
