Help for science teacher in WA
One of the teachers here has a relative who has just started teaching science in a very small school in WA (don't know anymore details than that) where they do not have a Labbie. In QLD we have a reference book called "Aspects of Science Management" produced by Education Queensland. Does W...

What is MTT? I did Google it but decided it probably wasn't Mobile Task Team or More Than Toast(?). Wondered if it might be Move To Trash though!

When you go into Manifest you then click on the stores on the left hand side to get a list of all chemicals in that store (or just click on manifest if you are doing the whole thing). Re: Safety glasses hygiene
I have heard about putting glasses in the dishwasher before but was worried about doing it as whenever I put plastic stuff in ours it comes out with spots on. How do you avoid this?

If you do need distilled water Big W have it in their car care section. Approx $7 for 4 litres.

Re: PD days during holidays
We get paid casual rates but only for the day time bit. We are having "fun" in the evening! They also pay for the accomadation on the compulsory night but you are still giving up a lot of your time. I'm just having a whinge really. I'm sure I could kick up a fuss and not go but then I woul...

Re: PD days during holidays
I'm sure we will sort something out with the childcare but I think what I am getting at really is the "compulsory" part of going away and being expected to do these things when we are term time only.

PD days during holidays
I am term time only but at the beginning of every year we have 3 PD days that we are expected to attend. In prevous years they have gone away, one optional night and one compulsory night. In the past I have managed to get out of it with a variety of reasons but not sure I can manage to get out of it...

How do I view User groups?
Hi
I am a bit of a newbie, joined a while ago but haven't really used it much. In the FAQ it says there are user groups you can join or ask to join and that these are accessed through your User Control Panel. Not sure if I am being blind but I can't find anything about User groups in there.

Re: distilled water
I am at a school where we have no still or deioniser. I will need to buy some water but which do I need to buy? Will deionised do everything or will I still need distilled for some things? I bought some demineralised from Bunnings yesterday just to see me through but I think that it was fairly expen...
