Re: Geiger Counters/Timer Counter Scaler Frequency Instructions

For the IEC one, I would just plug in a tube and turn her on.... press buttons. You can't really destroy it

Re: updating SDS's

I am in a similar situation as Merilyn1, have a system and my spreadsheet actually flags when one is coming due (the 5 year mark)...I go in every 2-3 weeks and check, update and reprint if needed. I also review all our Chemical Risk Assesments (we do a RA on every chemical before it gets ordered / o...

I have sourced real copper ore from drill holes from Rio Tinto. You could always fire off an email to their generic email adress. I have an inside contact but can't really share that.

Re: Limit on number of Practicals done each week?

We are a Vic Gov school, teachers can order however many they want. Our most was 22 on 1 day. We avergae 5 pracs/day. Re: Wheatstone bridge

We have 12..use them every year in Physics, depends on your physics teachers I think. Ours have about 5 strands of wire up and down them :) Different diameters so we know the resistance they should get but the students don't.

I tell my teachers that they need a Risk Assess becasue if something happens and a student is injured that they are responsible (not me). I also remiind them of the new workplace manslaughter laws.
