All the info in the FAQ section of the RiskAssess labeling function assures us it is compliant with all relevant rules and laws governing decanted chemicals (and it's way easier to use than ChemWatch). As I've said before, I won't make my own labels using DGen or any other method because, A. My Word...

This topic is sure getting tricky!! By "brought into use" does he mean the minute it's out of the storeroom to be used......? If that's the case, then it needs to re-labelled, doesn't it, because if it's in the store and never comes out it means we don't use it, which means it doesn't need...

We do a similar investigation with pond plants (which I buy from the pet shop) and hydrogen carbonate indicator (which is easy to make). Keeps the cost down!

I noticed this on RiskAssess today....seems the solid is teacher only and the dilute solution we use for making slime is OK for students in Yr 11 and 12.

NOn-government schools have to pay to gain access to the new CSIS - our Diocesan offices won't pay for it.. so we are still using the old one. Did you mean CSIS or ChemWatch, Sunray? What diocese are you in? I'm at a catholic school and I haven't heard anything about a new CSIS.......and I also tho...
