Solid sulphur

Hi everyone,

Hope your year is going well so far.
Does anyone know where we could get some chunks of solid sulphur?
Our teachers want some to do physical testing (hammering!) and also conductivity testing.
Thanks.

We do the M&M's too, but we never get any leftovers :-(

Re: Setting up yet another prep room

Goodness gracious me, how do you keep up?
We're 2 full-time, with 4 labs, 2 prep rooms.
I must admit that we are not busy all the time..........

Hopefully next year they'll employ an assistant for you???? Good luck!

What happens if you get sick and need time off?

Standardised Chemical labels and inventory list?

Casual employment 2013 Sydney? Or not?

Hi Everyone, My temp contract will come to an end at the end of this year, as the person I filled in for will be returning after long leave. I remember reading in another post about how useful it would be if there were lab techies available on a casual basis, eg. to cover for sick leave, study leave...

Standard Operating Porcedures

Hi Everyone, I am new to this forum, so Hi! I would like to know if there is a standard format/layout that secondary schools should use for making up SOP's. For example, our Head of Science wants us to compile SOP's for making up acid solutions, or toxic chemical solutions etc. I look forward to you...
