I have sourced real copper ore from drill holes from Rio Tinto. You could always fire off an email to their generic email adress. I have an inside contact but can't really share that.

With keeping copies of RA... we do only for the year they are running. At the end of the year I do a backup on RA and send them all to a file. No more hard copies anywhere and they are then saved in the system for ever.

We are a Vic Gov school, teachers can order however many they want. Our most was 22 on 1 day. We avergae 5 pracs/day. I have a rule that teachers need to book 1 week notice for old/repeat pracs, 2 weeks notice for new or developing pracs. We are lucky enough to have the room and so many trollys/tubs...

We have 12..use them every year in Physics, depends on your physics teachers I think. Ours have about 5 strands of wire up and down them Different diameters so we know the resistance they should get but the students don't.

I tell my teachers that they need a Risk Assess becasue if something happens and a student is injured that they are responsible (not me). I also remiind them of the new workplace manslaughter laws.

heat distribution is my guess, so you don't have direct flame on glass.. but don't know for sure
