I'm with Kimmy. Working in the school system is great. I thought we were SAO's (school assistant officers). Whatever we're called, I love being here.

Re: Bench Cloths v Paper Towel
We use paper towel and soap dispensers with no problems, one set in each of the 3 labs. We have a sponge clipped above each tap that the kids use to wipe down their bench (not that they do that too regularly). The cleaners supply us with the paper towel and we supply the soap (from QStores)

Re: This awful weekend
Thoughts and wishes are with everyone caught up in this terrible terrible disaster. We sit in disbelieve as it all unfolds on our TVs, and can't believe how this could have happened, no escape for alot of the residents. My heart goes out to everyone involved.

Re: Upgrading of 800 science laboratories (NSW public schools on
Great to hear Science areas are going to be fixed up. How do we find out if our school is on the list? We have heard nothing, relieving Head Teacher knew nothing about the refurbishments.

Re: Holidays
Hubby and I are off to Port Macquarie for the two weeks. So looking forward to it, no frosts or minus temperatures. A bit of whale watching, beach walks and no cooking.
Have a safe and happy break everyone.
Look forward to catching up next term.
All the best Vicki
