Any of you good folk had trouble when using narrow range pH indicator paper? Does it go "off" if stored for a long while? Last year the chemistry teacher complained about the paper "not working", so we got some new booklets however these are "not working" this year!!!! ...

Dissolve 19.4g of Potassium chromate in distilled water and make up to 1 litre. This is 0.1M strength. Acidify be adding a few drops of conc. Acetic acid. Simple as that!! Cheers. Judy.

Dear Bindi - We were inspected lasr year and the woman that came to the prep room insisted that the Bromine water must live in the Corrosive cupboard not in the Fridge as I had read in the SCIS manual!!!
