As word got around the area, other schools did it as well. Some schools would only take, Non classified chemicals, some took big equipment, only to look after. I had list made for each school. It sure was a busy time.

It's done by there GA, by class, Non classified, etc etc. The acid's we found room at our school to store them. Our GA and there's worked together, and we did the same for that school. Think the Principals also got together to help. It was done in about 3 trips. They choice early in the morning, If ...

We help't local schools out, by storing there chemicals, and they stored ours when this all happened.

I had five weeks off once, Doe NSW school, and I cried when I got back, it was a ___________ mess. No one did a thing. Mine you if front office has a few away sick, lets just pull the labbie out of Science, she can answer the phone. Dept of Education= DoE.

The potash is non-hazardous and can go down the sink according to NSW guidance. Depending on the amount I had, I would wash to waste with a lot of water and consider pouring out smaller amounts over a longer period of time to break up the load so to speak.
