Fire Retardant MSDS help please?
I am trying to find an msds for Fire Kill , (Its a fire retardant,) but without success #-o I cant find it on Chemwatch either, but that may be more my poor user skills than anything heres a link to a newspaper article for the product http://www.borderwatch.com.au/archives/1894 Thanks :) R-S

Hi Linda :-) We send out the Risk Assessment with the pracs. No print in sending out an msds, they have no time to look at them just before the prac, but they need to look at the RA, and use that. However, For the senior chemistry classes, I always send in the One Page Summary for each of the chemic...

we have done both the measuring cylinder, and the coke bottles. Both are really good in different ways. We usually do one onf each.. side by side. Just make sure that if youre doing coke bottles...AND want to do repeat reactions.. just have a steady suply of coke bottles on hand...as I said before t...

The reaction generates a lot of heat. You would have to be very sure that your flask is a top grade glass... ans even then I would NOT risk it in glass case of breakage.
We use PET drink bottles, but the heat shrinks the bottle every time its used for a reaction

Just a reminder to make sure to set the new DVD up into Chapters, or else you may regret it later on! Especially if you have say, a video with 20 x 10 minute programs on it.... you will want to just be able to press the "next" button on the DVD. Rather than struggle to locate the start of ...

Teacher would like an enzyme prac to demonstrate the effect of substrate concentration .
