hi there Sam, Just remember if you can not get to clean it straight away put them in the freezer till you can get around to washing them up - it avoids a smelly prep room. we use white paint trays with 10 and 12 holes in them which we purchased from Qstores quiet some time ago. They work fine for many differnt experiments throughout the year and are very cheap. hope this is of some help to you. :thumbup:

well we have the service men that are hooked up with the dept edu come around about once a year. they look at the cupboards turn them on and turn them off decided that yes they do need a major service and we will organise that and well thats that we dont see them till next year :redcard: . I have a phone in my preproom and one in the science Staff room and will have one in the prep room once the update of the new lab happens. I dont think the teachers could work without the phone to the prep room as we have labs on a different level. Sometimes I do wish there was no phone in the prep ...

Put them in the freezer then just break the wax off. A bit time consuming but works :thumbup: .

Just make sure you let the local fire men know what you are up to. They do let off a lot of smoke. We did this for our year 12 break up a couple of years ago. Just our of kindness let the approapriate people know whats going on.

We had team here yesterday to look through and saw plans ect.Spoke regarding shower and i explained the shower had no drain in it. What sort of glassware are you needing such strong acid for cleaning.

We use both paper towels, tea towels and hand towels. I wash towels and tea towel weekly to fortnightly depending on washing amount. If i did not use hand towels I am sure that I would be washing ever day or so. I dont know how you can go without having paper towel in a lab. KIMMY Happy Easter to AL...
