I notice on the Chemwatch MSDS pages they have an issue date and a print date.
I remember seeing somewhere the MSDS's have to be reprinted, is it every 3 or 5 years??

Re: Gov. Stores
Hi Pamela, I have been around long enough to still have some old Government Store chemicals on my shelves. I inherited them from the previous technician. When the bottles are empty, I keep them as a part of my 'museum' here, together with obsolete equipment. (PS they usually have bakelite lids which...

Re: Sodium Dichromate for cleaning glassware
Dear Gillian, pleeeease don't use chromic acid (metal chromate + concentrated acid). It is banned in schools now as an "X" category chemical - highly toxic, carcinogen, forms explosive mixtures with combustible materials, etc. Once it is made up, it is very time consuming to get rid of. Ho...

Rock supplies
Hi All,
some time ago, I was looking for a current contact number for geological specimen supplies for our school kits. My old contact had retired.
I now have contact details of the new owner and would be pleased to supply anyone by PM if you would like them.
Cheers,
~Robyn

Hi Sassi,
do you have a geiger counter/timer? This will give you a radioactive readings. Your Physics teacher would know how to evaluate the readings.

Periodic table posters
Hi All,
I am looking for a supplier for the big periodic table posters (with or without pictures). Remember the ones that are approx. 2 x 1.5 metres? Ours are rather tired, stained or torn.
Cheers,
~Robyn
