I believe it is a student to lab tech ratio. I need this figure to support my request for a position for a 1/2 time lab tech

I have a new prac order to determine the'iodine number of Triglycerides'. It calls for the use of chloroform and iodine monochloride. both these chemicals i do not have and do not wish to work with and store. i agree we should be called laboratory technicians or managers. I was in NZ recently and their title is 'Science Technician'. something to think about

I am a lab tech in Darwin and we are looking at installing a chemical management system in all high schools. we are preveiwing CHEMWATCH and CHEMALERT. I would like to know which states use which and some feedback on how well they work and which is the preferred sysyem.
