Repairing power supply

Hi All,

Any suggestions on who to contact to repair an IEC high voltage power supply (5000V) would be much appreciated. Preferably in the Sydney metrolpolitan area.

Also who is the best supplier for pads of graph paper? Our usual supplier does not stock them any more.

Thanks to everyone for their replies, we were told after a Board inspection we needed "better" storage even for dilute chemicals. Although they didn't clarify what this meant. I will show our Science HOD all your posts.

storing dilute solutions

Hi All,

I wanted to know how to best store dilute quantities of solutions in dropper bottles. At the moment they are in tubs on a side bench in the prep room which is kept locked at all times. Is this sufficient or do they need to be in a cupboard as well? Most of them are 1M or less.

Our chemistry teacher had an issue with barium nitrate this week and when she called the poisons information number was told not to induce vomiting as this is "old" advice, however the MSDS from the Chemwatch online database clearly states induce vomiting. Does anyone have an explanation f...
