As these sets are over 20 yrs old maybe someone might out there be ready to throw them out. We need some spare parts especially the cable that connects to ...

Re: Phenyl salicylate and crystal formation.
Hi maybe this can help you, Crystals under the microscope: You need to have the microscope on the lowest magnification. Make a solution by adding about one spatula of iodine crystals to about 50 mL of methylated spirits. Stir to dissolve- it gives a dark reddish black solution. It is toxic. Put a fe...

Re: Full SDS for dangerous chemicals
Hi AnnNos,
Is there anywhere where I can get this information from, to show my head teacher?
The reason I am asking is because I thought dangerous goods code (DGC) is only for transport not for storage.
Thanks Superbug

Full SDS for dangerous chemicals
Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone knows whether we need full sds's for dangerous goods in our chemical register?
I have noticed some chemicals are non hazardous but are dangerous, do I still need to include them in the chemical register?
Thanks Superbug

Re: home loan protection
Hi Liz, This is for home loan protection insurance- it is a type of insurance to cover your home loan repayments if something happens and you cant work. so depending on the type of work you do means they wont cover high risk occupations. they are quite happy to increase our borrowing just not take t...

Re: home loan protection
Yes but they consider it hazardous regardless of how much is used. so anyone that handles hazardous (anything that can harm you is there definition)chemicals can not get home loan protection and perhaps income protection.
