Re: registration
yes, or you can just write it on the bottom of the bottle if possible. the old class is only used for storage purposes, which is still the old regulation. as we still have to store it under the old system but label has to be ghs new system soon.

I have placed the website for chemwatch running down the page. It may be an idea to call or have an online chat with chemwatch and ask whether you can be changed over now rather than waiting.

Re: GHS and Labels
Hi Dime, it is on the left hand side of screen. before you make any labels, you have to set up the labels yourself. There is a tutorial to watch on chemwatch. this is what I watched and then learnt to make my own. If you go to the top of the middle right hand side of screen you will see a-z icon the...

Re: GHS and Labels
Hi Lada,
I guess it depends on which vendor you go with and I have also added both ghs and class pictograms to my D-gen labels.

Re: GHS and Labels
I have done all small dropper bottle trays. not sure if I will do all dropper bottles individually. As long as it has a name & concentration I think that is good enough esp when they are 30ml or the plastic bottles, cause as you squeeze the plastic ones the label comes off. I use chemwatch - D-G...

Re: chemical Register

I always let maintenance know I have thrown out glass, just in case, they do decide to jump in. not sure if they do jump in, but I let them know anyway.

Re: registration
Hi Sunray 18
I believe we are still to store them under the old system.
there is a storage regulation which is old Which is what we should be following from before.
But the new ghs regulation only applies to labelling.

Re: registration
Hi Lada, I have changed all my dropper bottles over. just the chemical's I make up i do on the run. One point to note is that although they are ghs labels with new symbols. we are still required to store them the same way as before ie class 5, 6, 8, 9 and non hazardous. So we should have storage of ...

Yes but I really only needed the wire connectors and if possible spare parts for later. I called lego education and they dont sell spare parts for the kit as it is 20 yrs old.
