Re: Chemwatch
Thanks for the empathy linotas. I feel a little uplifted that others share the same views on chemwatch. I'll be downloading manifests to excel spreadsheets in the near future and watch my stress levels disappear. Wow I feel better already.

Chemwatch
Hello all. My rant for the day I am continuing to have big issues with chemwatch, this time when chemicals are moved the volumes change to something a completely random number to 5 decimal places. They are currently working on the issue having replicated it but I've had it. The sds' and labe...

Re: Stocktake on Chemwatch FFX
Chemwatch recommend Google Chrome and generating reports through the Materials section of the program and not the Manifest.
And for the zero volume results in repeated chemicals I ticked and deleted them. In the previous version it would wipe out the whole original entry but not anymore.

Re: GHS Labelling and frustrations with Chemwatch
Thanks Rae. I searched for sulphuric acid in the manifest section with no results. http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/sulphuric-acid It must have been added as the American spelling some years back and I assumed it would spell auto correct when UI is English and base is Australia. I'...

Re: GHS Labelling and frustrations with Chemwatch
try looking for sulphuric acid....omg...during the transfer of my inventory from Chemgold 3 to Gold ffx, 4 chemicals have disappeared from the inventory, volumes have changed from 0.4 kg to 0.3999998 kg for no apparent reason. Have voiced this to chemwatch, escalate to chemist/developer/someone with...

Re: Stocktake on Chemwatch FFX
Thanks Kat. How many data points are you selecting? 5 minutes for 170 chemicals seems like a long time to generate a report. I've been told by CW "to please cease to run a report as its causing massive CPU (server) issues, and it will affect users who want to look up, there is a bug somewhere t...

Re: Exposure to contaminated petri dishes
Can the experiment where the students swab every nook and cranny of the school still be performed? I understood that it was banned due to possible unknown bacterial growths, would somebody be able to confirm this - thank you
