Hi Lada Was just reading the info you gave to Sassi. I was wondering if you could let me have some safe alternatives to equilibirium experiements as well. We have a chemistry teacher from SIDE coming to visit next week and wants to do this experiement with the Nitrogen dioxide gas but I am not happy...

We used that recipe but were not successful. Is there a trick to know when it is ready?

We have a prac which requires 'Light Corn Syrup'. We made up a recipe using water, sugar and cream of tartar but it went solid on us. Does anyone have any tips on making this and keeping it at a syrupy state? thanks
