For ease of measurement use 50ml 35% H2O2 to 250ml distilled water to give 300ml total. You can buy 6% H2O2 but I got caught recently with the 35% and watered it down as mentioned, with no complaints. Good luck!

Did you know that this has a fairly short shelf life so don't buy large amounts and it
needs to be kept in the fridge?

Hi All
H2O2 will convert back to H2O after a certain period of time.
To test if the peroxide is still active try this:

Pour a small amount of peroxide in a test tube, then put a very small amount of Manganese Dioxide powder in. If it fizzes up then it is still ok and can be used. Just be careful as it can get a little hot.
Take care

When diluting any liquid simply use the formula

M1 x V1 = M2 x V2

where M = concentration
V = volume

So to make up 250ml of 6% hydrogen peroxide from 35%

0.35 x V1 = 0.06 x 0.250

therefore V1 = 0.043

this means that you take 43ml of the 35% hydrogen peroxide and then add distilled water to make up 250ml in total (ie. add 207 ml don't just add 250ml)

hope this is not too confusing
