Friends - been a while but hoping the universal brains trust can help me ...
Chemistry teacher is commenting on how the stream from the burettes is either lateral ir not running / streaming or drips ... They have been pulled apart - run HCl through them poked nichrome wire in tip ... I am tearing my hair out ...
Any suggestions ...

Is all of them or just one or two ?
Sounds like you have done pretty much all you can .
If they are the ones with Teflon tips ,
I’m thinking the tip is damaged . You could try slicing a small bit off the end as parallel as you can with a Stanley knife . Failing that , the round filing cabinet might be the solution

yes we filed ours as well and then brought some more. You can buy replacement tips if using the teflon ones, cheaper than buying a whole new glass burette
