Geiger Counters/Timer Counter Scaler Frequency Instructions

Post by cactus155 »

Hi all,

Firstly I searched the forums for some information and there seem to be a few questions similar but not what I was after.
So I have 2 types (illustrated below) of Geiger Counters/Timer Counter Scaler Frequency apparatus and am after the instructions for them or if anyone has knowledge of how these operate and how to test these pieces of equipment

Hoping someone can help me out as our radioactivity experiments never seem to work well.

Thanks so much in advance
Andrew

Have you tried contacting the manufacturers?

I contacted IEC as LABAX does not seem to exist anymore and they sent me the instructions for their newer model and did not have the instructions for that model
Thanks

For the IEC one, I would just plug in a tube and turn her on.... press buttons. You can't really destroy it
