Thank you to every school that has already completed the Expression of Interest (EOI) to subscribe to Science ASSIST and support our move to a subscription service.

Currently we are about halfway to the number of EOIs from schools required. A minimum of 800 subscriptions will be needed for the service to remain viable in its current form. If that number is not reached prior to Friday 11 December 2020, Science ASSIST will no longer be a viable service to continue. By committing to subscribe in 2021, your school will enable us to keep this vital service operational.

See attched flyer for more details.
This is such a great resource, we can't let it not continue.

We have signed up!
Please, if your school hasn't yet decided persuade them to sign up too. This is such a great resource and it would be a great shame to let it go...

We discussed Science ASSIST at our annual conference last month and encouraged schools to sign up. A reminder email as sent to all lab techs in Tasmania yesterday, so hopefully there will be a lot signing up from our state.

Oh Margaret I do wish the DoE would sign up. May be one day.

ScienceASSIST is 80 schools short of maintaining this wonderful resource. If a nationwide minimum of 800 schools is not reahed, ScienceASSIST will then become unsustainable. If you haven't already given an EOI for your school then please rally your HOD to come on board as it is for teachers as well. Everyone will benefit.

I do hope they get the numbers. It will be really disappointing to lose this service. They have helped me directly with some really troubling problems, not to mention the awesome bank of previous questions. We will still be able to access the old ones, but they won't get updated which could be a problem in itself.
I can't recommend strongly enough to get your school to sign up to this. It is great PD, especially if you are not able to get to any off-site training.
