Welcome back to the best site. Many thanks to Westlab for providing this link.
My question is : how do you make a .5m solution of Ammonium thiocyanate? I can't find a recipe in my books and am hoping that one of you wonderful labbies can enlighten me.
Thanks in advance :clap3:

Please feel free to correct me but this is how I work out mass needed.
Mass (grams) = Molarity needed (eg 0.5M) X Molecular weight (which is on most containers of chemicals)
This is to make up 1000ml of solution
