Help! I have to think of a way to do this without a deckle. I'm about to buy chux as I have no pantyhose on hand. Any ideas?

We made a mush of paper and water, strained it, and put mesh or chux over it and rolled it out. Now it's drying sandwiched between cutting boards with bricks atop. We also trying a very dilute pva added to the mush.
