Digital Electronic Balance model 20002 purchased 2014 from Serrata

I need help please. The light comes on when I press the on/off button but then it goes off. There is nothing on the display. I can't find the instruction manual. The round thingy where you would place the item to be weighed is not attached. Should it be??? It looks like something might screw into "the round thingy" to keep it on the Balance.

Hello,
I would encourage you to phone Michael at Serrata , they are great over the phone. This does sound like there may be a problem.

try going to the Serrata Website, searching on 1052982
and click on the 'i' symbol in a blue circle on the right
