Sodium phosphate

Post by gotolady »

Hi all you fabulous labbies. I have just been asked if we can still use phosphates - sodium or potassium ? I was under the impression that they were banned but??? They are still part of the curriculum.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Page 232 from the CSIS Sodium phosphate 7-12 so green dot. Slightly toxic if ingested: Corrosive to all mucous membranes. Skin irritant since alkaline. Use eye and skin protection where splashes can occur. Disposal: waste solution sof this chemical may be disposed of down the sink (To sewer)
