legal requirement for chemical training

Post by superbug »

Hi All,
I was wondering whether someone knows whether all school staff need to be trained in "chemical safety in schools". we have not done any training for a number of years. Do we have too, is it a legal requirement?

Thanks Superbug :D

Yes, I would have been ticked by principal on the annual edit each year. Some Principals mix it up with are the SDS all done, and they think that is the CSIS training. It is still a legal requirement for D of E schools in NSW.

You should be able to ring the AIS if an independent school in NSW or you head Catholic office if you are a Catholic School
