Have been having a discussion with a teacher who has labelled a watch glass as a clock glass.
I've always called it a watch glass.
Your thoughts ??

Always a watch glass, Interesting.

I worked with a teacher who called the large ones a clock glass. Makes sense, watches are small and clocks are large.

Have heard both terms since my early days in science, but use 'watch glass'. Merilyn's comment sounds logical!
