Eriochrome Black T

Post by noona »

Hi all
Can someone tell me if we can use something else in stead of Eriochrome Black T I need it for Tuesday and no one seams to have any around here.
They are using it to assess water hardness with EDTA

Hi Noona,
We are having a bit of a cull in our Chem store and we have a very old 25g bottle of Eriochrome Black T that has not been used here at our school for yonks. If you are still interested in some I could send it to you.
By the way, can you direct me to the prac your using it for. We might have a use for it after all.
Cheers
Anne
