Post by Narelle01 »

and i just had to relog in after i posted...so here goes again.....

Is there a simple way to 'dilute' 1M acetic acid so i have 0.1M??
I have stacks of 1M and 2M but need 0.1 - and I am just trying to use what I have already made up...

please keep it simple...

THANKS!!

For the 1M, just dilute it ten times. ie take 100mls and put it in a 1000mL measuring cylinder, then add water to the 1L mark.
The 2M would be diluted 20 times. So take 50mLs and add water to the 1L mark.
cheers, Ellice. 8)
