Do any of you have any idea where I might source weather balloons, within Australia?

looking up some sites i use:
Totex is the company that makes the weather balloons which are used by the BoM and many other meteorological agencies across the world. It is a Japanese company. It is just matter of finding an Australian distributor for Totex. The problem you will have is that the weather balloons are often sold in bulk. You may not be able to buy them individually and if you could it may work out very expensive. There are also various sizes.
I did a quick Google search on Totex weather balloons and I only could find the US distributor. Maybe you could drop them an email and ask whether they know of an Australian distributor. No harm in asking.
Also try Spotlight for some really big helium balloons..
or make your own..

Hi David,

Please refer to the PM I have sent. US is a far better quality, but be aware there can be restrictions (Scientific Research etc).

Cheers,

Robb.....
