What exactly do you mean by chemical bingo? We made a game we call element bingo – laminated cards with the Chemical Symbols to mark off and small cards with the symbol and name to pull from the “hat” . Kids like it, was easy to make.

Hi Dolphinscales

I have attached a few files (I Hope! It is always a bit of "Hit and miss" as to whether files that I try to attach actually DO attach!)

The file called "Elements List" is the one that the teacher holds and randomly calls out element names from (and marks off what has been called out)

The other two files are just different versions of the same. The "Large" one I have printed out and cut into individual tables and then laminated. If the kids use Whiteboard markers, then these are re-useable. The other file has the same set of tables but in a smaller format. These are cut out into individual tables and handed out one to each kid. They mark off in pen each element that has been called out by the teacher, until all their elements have been named.

Each table is different, but all together, the tables make a set which will match the list that the teacher has. Generally we use a new set per game. That way you know that by the time the teacher has got to the end of their list, then every table should have been completed.

All the best
Ian :)

There are also cool "Clever Catch" balls that have questions all over them that can fit into topics, like "Elements" etc. Check them out at Southern Bio. Good for end of term days.
