Re: freezing body parts
I freeze my plucks in a salt solution and defrost the day before with no problems at all. I have never tried to refreeze them though, when they have been used I dispose of them. sometimes other classes organise to use them on the same day or they join classes to for the demonstration. sometimes PE also use my plucks and the same thing applys (we try to combine classes. everyone is happy

Re: freezing body parts
I bag them and put them in the freezer. We sometimes get four years use before they get a hole. No saline required.

Re: freezing body parts
Hi everyone,
I know this is an oldish thread but thank you.
As I have moved schools from where I was provided with a bar fridge to a school which has a full size fridge and freezer and also a deep freezer also full size and not the tucker box style and am about to get in 12 plucks. Did kidneys today, oh and a student wanted to dissect the dead wasp that was in the classroom but the Teacher wouldn't let them
