Amylase: Diastase or clarase??

Post by Robdean »

Have looked at the amylase thread. Has anyone had success using the clarase rather than the diastase in enzyme pracs?? I see the clarase is supplied as a powder (50g) and is much cheaper from Southern Biological than diastase (10ml). If only cost didn't come into it!

HI,
I just got my chemical order in for next year and I got 100g of amalase/diastae for $34.30, 100g goes a long way when you only need 0.1g per 100ml of solution. :D
