A bit sad that the conference is being held only in the city, It makes it a bit difficult for country staff to access. Does anyone know of any being held in country NSW.

Hi Lab,
I agree with you. Maybe we could approach CSU and see if they could do something for us southerners.

Great idea! Does anyone know who we could contact? Maybe the organizers of the conference in Sydney would know.

Start with CEO or DET down your way and ask about a Professional Development day and indicate to them what sort of workshops you would like to see.
I can make enquiries to STANSW through my role as councillor but would need help as its too difficult to organise a mini conference from a distance.
Another alternative would be to have a conference halfway between Sydney and say Albury or Wagga to reach all you "southerners" :-)
How do people feel about a Saturday conference ? :?:

Hi guys!
I have been fortunate enough to have approval for me to attend the STANSW conference on 1st Dec. I was wondering if anyone a part of Chemtalk is attending and if so maybe we should either wear a special name tag for identification as part of this wonderful site or something?
What do others think?

I am hoping to provide one day next year for either networking or with workshops at Wodonga. Anyone interested?

What topics / workshops would you be interested in??

Cheers Kel

Noona - I think I would have to do far more than "get down on bended knee", I shudder at the thought!
