Fume cupboard service

Hi All,

I have been asked by my boss to ask you, who you all have to service your fume cupboards? We have had problems with 2 companies so far (sorry I dont know who they are), and cant get anyone out.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We are on the Central Coast NSW, so I guess anyone from Sydney or Newcastle would be the closest.

we got our fume cupboard from LABTEC and now they are coming here to service it.

I have only had them here once in two years so its hard to say. They did turnup when they said they would and got the job done.

Yeh, same with our guy. He is pricey, but I am not sure what going rate is.

Hi Lisa,
we are about to get a service from Mechatronics who supplied our nine fume cupboards last year when outfitting our new Science building. At an OH&S Inservice last year I learnt that it is ideal to have the fume cupboards serviced twice a year but we are seeing how it goes with a contract for one annual service.
