Wider Borosilicate Tubes

Post by oakley.mcmillan »

We had a suggestion the other day to offer wider borosilicate tubes that are more suited to schools, for larger samples.

Open to your opinions, what do you think?

Have you always wished you had wider ones?
Would this be something you would buy if it were available?

Like what? Test Tubes? I get 22mm already and they are fine, mostly we use smaller ones as school labs use chemicals sparingly. I had some huge ones donated, never used them.

I like the 25x150mm ones for heating etc. but I have also recently bought micro test tubes for the chemical reactions. they will only need a few drops instead of a few cm to see the results.
