Foods prac - protein

Post by linotas »

I need to doctor up some "unknowns" for the food test prac. Basically 5 liquids that contain three out of four of protein, sugar, salt and starch. What can I use for the protein? Nutritional protein powder all have some level of carbs in them.

Could work. It has sodium listed on its nutritional panel so it could have salt. Might have to test it out.

Another way is to strain yoghurt through muslin and collect the whey. I do it at home so I can eat the resulting curd....make good labne!

I have used "pavlova magic" in the past and had no complaints.
